Deck Strengths

 Explosive Plays

  • Gozuki, Il Blud, and Supervise open up the possibility of an OTK as they allow you to completely dominate the board.

Provides Plenty of Insurance

  • Gozuki allows you to special summon a zombie from your graveyard when it's sent to the graveyard.
  • Supervise can special summon any gemini from your graveyard when it's destroyed while face-up, including the monster equipped.

Consistently Counter the Meta

  • Nepthys isn't really a problem as your quick play spells can allow you to destroy it next turn. Heavy Knight of the Flame can also banish it. The field presence Il Blud provides is usually enough to go for the OTK without having to worry too much about any Sphere Kuribohs.
  • Toons are just annihilated by HKotF.
  • Stealing an opponent's REZD from their graveyard through Il Blud completely throws your opponent away and can signal their defeat.
  • Ice Barrier decks can't really keep up, even though they try to keep board dominance. HKotF is generally enough to get rid of all their boss monsters, being all the more easier considering Ice Barrier decks tend to not run much backrow.
  • Ninja decks are oddly one of the toughest match ups to face, but only because of how long the duels last. More times than not, they'll eventually run out of support and will be left open to a close finish by one of your monsters.
Deck Weaknesses
  • The deck can be really expensive to build due to having to go through Crimson Kingdom three times in order to obtain the three Gozukis.
  • Weevil hard counters this deck with Lava Golem getting rid of your monster. Due to it usually being equipped to Mask of the Accursed, it can be really difficult to deal enough damage to your opponent with one spot filled. Fortunately, Il Blud can save you from this situation.
  • Most of the monsters have atrocious defense which usually makes Mirror Wall useless when set - which is why Super Rush Headlong can really help out in a pinch.
  • There is no Spell/Trap removal.
Deck Summary

The strategy is to basically get a zombie into the graveyard, preferably Goblin Zombie, through Gozuki's effect. After that, you'll use Gozuki's effect again to send another Gozuki  from your deck to the graveyard in order to special summon a monster from your hand. Supervise opens up the possibility of an OTK and explosive plays when equipped to Il Blud, while at the same time providing insurance to revive one of your geminis. This is also an excellent deck to build if you don't have any Red-Eyes Insight, while being just as powerful if used correctly.

Core Cards
Card Explanation
Gozuki

Gozuki is the sole reason that zombies exploded into the meta. The deck would just not work without it. Gozuki's purpose in this deck slightly differs from the REZD deck. Essentially, you goal is to dump a zombie into the graveyard, preferably Goblin Zombie, one turn and dump a Gozuki into the graveyard next. The special summon also allows you to normal summon one of your geminis.

(Running 3 copies is a must)

This card along with Gozuki allows for some explosive plays. One thing that many people fail to notice is that you're also able to special summon zombies from your opponent's graveyard ie REZD.

(2x to 3x copies)

Heavy Knight of the Flame

This card can fit into almost any deck at the moment due to the special summoning meta. There are just a plethora of ways in this deck that will allow you to skip the two turn wait, and wasting a normal summon, to activate its effect.

(3x copies)

This card can essentially turn the entire game around when you're in a tough spot. Pairing it with Il Blud allows you to completely control the board, so much so that even their backrow isn't anything to worry about. But what really makes this card amazing is that it lets you special summon a gemini monster from your graveyard when it's destroyed faced up, including the equipped monster.

Cards that Counter this Deck
Card Explanation
Lava Golem

This card is the bane of existence for anyone that runs any deck that spams the field with monsters. When facing Weevil Burn, it's usually in your best interest to keep an Il Blud at hand to get rid of Lava Golem.
