Deck Summary

This deck's strategy is to continuously increase your LP to over 10,000 LP while stalling out until the final turn.

Main Threats

  • Dark Magician
    • Arkana's boss monster with 2500 ATK. Most of the spells and traps revolve around him.
  • Dark Magic Attack
    • This destroys our entire backrow and is a threat to the trap cards to we use to stall

Counters

  • Use Floodgate Trap Hole to keep Dark Magician face-down. By doing this, Arkana will have to Tribute Summon another Dark Magician in order to play any of the Spells/Traps for him.
  • Don't set too many traps at once to avoid being wiped clean of defensive traps.

Final Turn Combo:

1) Normal Summon Cosmic Compass and activate its effect to summon two "Compass Tokens." (After summoning the first token, it will ask again if you want to summon an additional token)

2) Activate Creature Seizure to switch one of your Compass Tokens with one of Arkana's monsters.

3) Enter the Battle Phase and activate Arrivalrivals, choosing to Normal Summon The Winged Dragon of Ra.

4) When prompted, activate The Winged Dragon of Ra's effect, reducing your LP to 100 and increasing Ra's ATK/DEF to the amount paid.

5) Attack the Compass Token (on Arkana's side of the field) with the Winged Dragon of Ra to end the Duel.

Card Explanation

Our goal is to get our LP to over 10,100 by the final turn. The Winged Dragon's of Ra's effect allows us to pay LP so we only have 100 left, to increase its ATK and DEF with the same amount.

By having Ra as our big boss, we can achieve the following bonuses:

  • Over 9,999 Damage! (3000 DA pts)
  • Summoned DIVINE monster (1000 DA pts)
  • Played Prismatic Card (200 DA pts)
  • LP on the Brink (1000 DA pts)

 

This card's effect provides us a total of three tributes for The Winged Dragon of Ra.
Arrivalrivals After summoning Cosmic Compass, this card provides an additional summon so we can bring out The Winged Dragon of Ra.

Use this card to swap a "Compass Token" with one of Arkana's monsters.

Golden Ladybug Provides 500 LP every turn through its effect. The more you have in hand per turn, the better. ALWAYS use the effect.

Card Explanation
Super Double Summon Alternative to Arrivalrivals. You will have to activate this card and summon The Winged Dragon of Ra in your Main Phase.
Stop Defense

Alternative to Creature Seizure. This will be used to ensure that at least one of Arkana's monsters will be in Attack Position for Ra to attack. Keep in mind, by using this card, you may need more than 10,100 ATK in order to achieve the Over 9,999 Damage! bonus.

10,100 ATK - Enemy Monster's ATK = The Winged Dragon of Ra's ATK

Defense Draw Alternative to Draining Shield. Instead of negating the attack, you reduce the damage you take to 0 and draw 1 card.
Impenetrable Attack Alternative to Draining Shield. Instead of negating one attack, you negate all Battle Damage for one turn.
Similar purpose to Floodgate Trap Hole, but it cannot keep Dark Magician face-down. You may have to toggle your Activation Confirmation button to ON as soon as he plays Dark Magician.
